Thermal insulating coatings work on the principle of reflection in the exterior, reflecting more than 97.75% of the sun's radiation back into the atmosphere, while in the interior they work on the principle of absorbing thermal radiation and radiating it back into the room. In the domestic and building ranges, the interior wall is warm to the touch, making the coating work as a thermal insulator and as a mould-proofing coating. The coating in the industrial range acts as a thermal insulator and thermal coating, where it can be used, among other things, to protect workers from burn injuries as part of workplace safety.
