Elimination of mould, insulation of walls and elimination of thermal bridges in the apartment
We recently started work on a flat where the main problems were a draughty wall towards the courtyard and mould in the kitchen due to damp and freezing walls. It was clear that the situation required a thorough and permanent solution.
First, we manually removed the mold from the walls, using our own disinfectant. Then we applied Primer CT, which prepared the surface for the final coat. Finally, we applied a thermal insulation coating called Alpha Inner, which ensures that the heat stays in and moisture doesn't have a chance.
In the kitchen, the problem was a little more complicated - due to the humidity and lack of direct sunlight, the paint was peeling around the windows. After removing the furniture, we repaired everything we could and then applied an insulating coating. Of course, we put the furniture back in place.
We threw away the moisture absorber - unfortunately, if the wall is already infested with mold, this solution is not enough. However, our comprehensive repair ensures that the mould won't stand a chance.
Once the work was completed, we completely painted the entire apartment and provided the owner with a 5-year warranty on the paint applied. We believe that the apartment is now pleasantly warm during the winter and cool in the summer, free from mould and damp.
